Povoxxx Plugin

Povoxxx is a compact vocal processor for fast lead-vocal chains. It combines gate, vocal rider, compression, doubling, bright tone, saturation, air, de-essing, megaphone color, short room, long reverb, and output trim in one focused interface.

Use it for clean vocal leveling, width, sheen, sibilance control, room placement, and phone-style throw effects without rebuilding the same chain in every session.

System Compatibility

Povoxxx currently requires macOS 11+ on Apple Silicon.

Intel Mac, Windows, AAX, and VST2 builds are not included in the current Gumroad package.

Dynamics

Control What it does
GATE Soft-knee downward expander for reducing room tone, bleed, and noise between vocal phrases.
RIDER Automatic fader-style vocal leveling before compression, with optional sidechain-aware behavior.
COMP One-knob vocal compression with fixed vocal-oriented knee, ratio curve, timing, and makeup behavior.

Tone

Control What it does
BRIGHT Clears low-mid buildup around the 300 Hz area so the vocal reads brighter.
SATURATE Adds console-style vocal edge with internal auto-gain tracking.
AIR Adds stabilized high-frequency presence and sheen.
DE-ESS Split-band sibilance control that reduces the high sibilant band instead of the whole vocal.

FX and Output

Control What it does
DOUBLER Generated double-tracking layer with fixed internal width and variation.
MEGAPHONE Lo-fi phone/megaphone filtering and tone color for throw effects or vocal focus.
ROOM REVERB Short dense ambience around the vocal; the tone slider changes only the wet room return.
LONG REVERB Longer bright modulated tail; the tone slider changes only the wet long-reverb return.
OUTPUT Final output trim for level matching into a lightweight limiter.
